Old Hollywood Glamour

Black and White Photos  Black and White Photographs

There is something about black and white photos, they are my absolute favorite; which I suppose is odd, since I do makeup and you really can not appreciate the makeup in a black and white photo.

Still, there is something sophisticated and classic about black & whites.  The photographer and I wanted to emulate an Old Hollywood glamorous shot. Sort of Marilyn, but still an air of timelessness.

The light and shadows playing off her face show a doe eyed young women, a bit timid, but sensual in her own right.

The hair, actually a wig was coifed and fit the image perfectly.

Light Clean  Light Fashion Look

This shot was sort of a “girl next door” look. Using the clean white background and white clothing, the makeup had to be simple, yet still enhance the natural beauty of the model.

The hair needed to have a laid back feel,  you could picture that she just took it out of a pony tail.

A clean foundation, light eyeshadow, a little shadow smudged under the lower lashline, and a nude lip is all you need to pull this look off!
